๐จ DROUGHT WATCH ISSUED FOR CLARION COUNTY ๐จ
๐ง The Commonwealth Drought Task Force has officially declared a Drought Watch for 25 counties across Pennsylvania, including Clarion County. This action follows the September 29, 2025, task force meeting, prompted by consistent dry conditions throughout the region.
๐บ๏ธ Counties now under a Drought Watch include:
Beaver, Bradford, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Lycoming, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Schuylkill, Somerset, Tioga, Venango, Warren, and Washington.
๐ฆ What You Can Do:
Everyone is encouraged to voluntarily reduce water use by 5% to help conserve resources. Simple steps like fixing leaks, taking shorter showers, and limiting outdoor watering can make a big difference!
