🎺 HISTORIC WIN FOR DHS BAND! 🏆

Congratulations to band directors Michael Lehmann, Marli Dority, and Tyler McClendon; DHS administrators, staff, and parents; DMS and the feeder pattern music team; and—of course—the incredible STUDENT MUSICIANS of the Davenport High School Band!

DHS was just named the 2027 TMEA 4A State Honor Band—making them the first band in Comal ISD, Region 12, and the entire San Antonio area to earn this state title since the contest began in 1958! 🏆✨

On top of that, our feeder pattern crushed it at OPS with state-wide honors across the board! 🎶

We can't wait to see this talented group perform at the TMEA Convention in San Antonio in February! ❤️

🏆 HUGE news for the Danville MS Bands! 🏆

Our talented student musicians represented Comal ISD at the ATSSB State level competition, taking home top honors against bands from all across Texas! 🎺🥁🎷

✨ Symphonic Band:
🥇 1st Place in State – Non-Varsity March ("Darklands March")
🥇 1st Place in State – Non-Varsity Concert ("Evergreen Escapades")
🏅 4th Place in State – Non-Varsity Concert ("Wild Blue")

✨ Wind Ensemble:
🏅 7th Place in State – Class 2C Concert ("Leading Light")

Congratulations to Directors Nichele Rios and Kelsey Lien, and every single band student for their hard work, passion, and dedication. We are so proud of you! 👏🎉
