📚✨ 2nd Grade Skills for Success! ✨📚

Our 2nd graders were busy building skills for success! They practiced high-frequency words through word searches and flash cards, played Go Fish to make ten, and used cards to build numbers to 20. 🃏🔢

We also talked about important real-life skills like counting money, telling time to the minute, retelling stories, and even baking at home! 💰⏰📖🧁

Learning doesn’t have to stop when you leave school! Math can happen in the car, reading comprehension can happen anywhere, and everyday experiences are opportunities to learn. 💚📚

What a great day of making learning meaningful and fun in 2nd grade! 🌟

🧼✨ It was all about CLEAN HANDS today at Memorial Elementary! ✨🧼

Our Memorial students learned the importance of proper handwashing and how those simple steps can help keep us healthy! 🫧👏

A HUGE thank you to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Officers for helping make this fun and educational experience happen for our students! 💚💙
