Third grade is THRIVING! 🔥

Mrs. Herrera, Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Valdez have been showing up day in and day out building capacity in our kids - in both language arts and math! Students are having structured conversations and owning their learning every single day. 💙

Mrs. Perez’s class finished off their “Todo Sobre Mí” (All About Me) presentations this week! ⭐❤️ Students created posters filled with fun facts about themselves, then took turns using our brand-new classroom microphones to confidently present to their classmates! 🎤

We love seeing our students share their personalities, build confidence, and celebrate what makes each of them unique! ⭐💙

Week 2 and we are already hard at work in stations and crushing all things math reading and science! Shoutout to Mrs. Etheredge, Mrs. Kawamura and Ms. Palacios for jumping into routines and putting in the work! 💙🌟🌟🌟

This year, we set out to surprise our amazing teachers every single Friday! From breakfasts, to lunches, to refreshments and everything else in between- our staff deserves all of it! We call it 🎉 FIESTA FRIDAY 🎉

This week- our friends at Texan Tea donated gallons to our staff and our amazing Admin Assistant, Mrs. Liscano, provided cookies 🍪. Last week, our friends from Hope Presbyterian brought the school coffee and pastries! Every year we bring in new traditions and we could not be more excited to keep these surprises rolling!

Our Safety Patrol made their debut this morning and we couldn’t be any more excited to have them back! Our school is in great hands with these leaders - from opening car doors in the morning to raising our flags. 💙💙💙
