It was a high-yield day today, working with our peers from across the Hill Country, collaborating on our legislative priorities for the upcoming legislative session! Great presentations, and great discussion...

I’ve received several emails and seen several posts about the different wastewater treatment levels, many questioning TCEQ’s permitting of wastewater treatment facilities of “Tier I” level treated effluent, expressing that as an inferior level, and subsequent levels being better quality.

Clearly, we all want the highest quality treated effluent available, if we have to have WWTPs at all. 💦
I just wanted to ‘clear the {waste} water’ and let y’all know that I have double-triple-quadruple verified with Commission on Environmental Quality , , and Texas Water Company, that TIER 1 is, 👉in fact👈, the highest quality level of wastewater treatment.
