DO YOU KNOW THIS PERSON?

The New Braunfels Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying an adult male that is a person of interest in an investigation into a case that occurred on June 6, 2026, at the Landa Park Aquatic Complex. Investigators have been attempting to identify this person since the initial report, but those efforts have not been successful and are now turning to the public for help.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this male is asked to contact the New Braunfels Police Department at 830-221-4100 or Comal County Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers offers a standard reward of up to $4,000 for information that leads to an arrest and/or grand jury indictment. NBPD Seeking Tips from the Public

The New Braunfels Police Department is seeking help from the public following a recent assault case. On July 23, between 2:50am and 4am, an adult female was physically assaulted by an unknown male while outside in the 3200 block of Wren Brook Drive. Investigators are looking for security camera footage or information about suspicious activity in this area during this time frame.

On Friday, September 11, 2026, the City of New Braunfels will hold a ceremony marking the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Read more information about the event in the post below.

On Friday, September 11, 2026, the City of New Braunfels will hold a ceremony marking the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.

The event will begin at 7:25 a.m. and feature members of the New Braunfels Fire and Police Department, who will march from the downtown Central Fire Station on Hill Avenue to Main Plaza. The ceremony will begin at approximately 7:40 a.m.

The ceremony will include a flag-raising and lowering ceremony at 7:46 a.m., commemorating the time American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. The ceremony will also include an invocation, brief remarks from local dignitaries, and a bell ringing in memory of fallen first responders.

Traffic around Main Plaza will be closed beginning at approximately 7:15 a.m. Those attending the ceremony are encouraged to gather near the flagpole and bandstand.

On Thursday, August 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at New Braunfels Municipal Court (550 Landa Street), the City of New Braunfels will host an educational program on drug and alcohol awareness presented by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.

This free session features a presentation and interactive stations, including a DWI driving simulator and activities with impaired driving goggles. Attendees will learn how drugs and alcohol affect the brain and gain insight into the real-life consequences of impaired driving.
