Last weekend the 3-5 SPED Teachers hosted a Sensory Saturday at the Early Childhood Education Center. Activities were provided to encourage outside, active, sensory play for children. Resources were available for families to learn how to use visual supports in their home and recipes were provided for families to make sensory play items such as bubbles and play dough. We even had a visit from the Book Buggy. Children and families were able to select age appropriate books for free to take home and read as a family. This event hosted approximately 18 families and 60 people. Thanks to all who came out on such a beautiful Saturday morning!
