The Club was formed back in 1948, over 75 years ago.. The mission of the club is designed around the idea of protecting, conserving and enjoying outdoor activities such as hunting & fishing while protecting the natural habitat and species found in Minnesota. Specifically, our mission is to:
- Generate public knowledge & appreciation for wildlife and the natural environment.
- Properly manage, con
serve and utilize our natural resources.
- Protect, conserve and manage indigenous species; and also to support measures of good sportsmanship! Regular club activities include putting on the annual Sportsmen’s Club Raffle, Sending kids to the Long Lake Conservation Camp, Sponsoring local high school trap teams, the Stockyard Days Sweet Corn Booth, an annual members Holiday Party and donating to many local and national organization that align with our conservation values. If you would like to get involved in the Sportsmen's Club we meet the 4th Tuesday of the month 7:30 PM at the New Brighton Eagles Club 553 Old Highway 8, New Brighton MN in the banquet hall. Membership fees are:
1st year Member Initiation fee: $15.00 (new member)
Annual Dues: $10.00 - New Member's Total - $25.00
