Today, officers from the New Brighton Area Police Department attended the Peace Officers Memorial Day ceremony at the Beaver County Law Enforcement Memorial to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside fellow law enforcement officers, families, and community members in remembrance of those heroes and their service.

During today’s ceremony, Officer K. Smith was recognized by the Beaver County Domestic and Sexual Violence STOP Coordinating Team for his exemplary performance in handling domestic violence and sexual assault investigations. Congratulations to Officer Smith on this well-deserved recognition.

All of our officers will continue to serve our community with compassion, professionalism, and dedication while working to protect and support victims during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
