for any new members (whether past alumni or parents of students)... i wanted to make the following known.

This page is not run by the school. It is run by a select few past alumni. For multiple reasons. And if you want to know them then you can ask.

This being said, I am looking to have new students join the page and help run the page to be useful to parents AND students again. So if any of you current students or parents of are interested or know your child would be interested in helping me run this page feel free to send me a direct message and let me know.

to any parents with any children going to be attending E.C. Goodwin Technical High School this upcoming year...apparently many of you have NOT received any of the bus info for your kid(s). If you are one of the parents whom hasn't received this important info, PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL DIRECTLY to ask for the phone number for your area that can help you. And if the people at that number can't give you the answer you need; call everyday to remind them. This error on their end is inexcusable and needs to have been prevented.

I am not going to release a name here however i am going to explain the end result.

I recieved a recent comment and i nearly exploded. This is not acceptable and luckily i didnt post what i originally typed and thus i would have been just as much at fault as the original poster. i typed 8 different roasts which would have not been right and could have disrespected e. c. goodwin as a whole. so in the end this simple decision is what i came to. a simple rule that i didnt think i needed to make known but apparently i do.

dont post any disrespectful/hate speech here. period. doesnt matter if it is towards a person, a school or a group of individuals. no negative posts.

i will be deleating the original posts that caused this, and yess i am going to be saving them for my own record incase i need to report the person in the future for harassment.

For all the new parents and students messaging this page asking all kinds of questions, keep in mind this page is NOT run by school staff, it is run by an alumni from 2013. This page was made literally because the at time school administration refused to make one. I had no intention to be the sole admin of this page but have yet to find anyone willing and capable of taking it over with the basic criteria i request.
you are free to ask me questions and i will do my best to answer or get answers (may take sometime to get answers), but i dont have all the answers. if its a dire situation please call the school directly.
At this point i am almost expecting im going to be the main admin of this page for a long time and i will likely try to get school administration to keep me informed on at the least events planned so i can keep you all posted. will see what happens when the upcoming school year starts.

Its been a long time since ive posted. I need a current student to message me that wants to take ownership of this page. Reply to this if any are interested. I would rather this not end up in the hands of a school staff member if i can prevent it.

E.C. Goodwin was made for kids that enjoy getting dirty while they learn, and for those that work in the field. There are 10 different shops throughout the school, ranging from Hairdressing to Manufacturing and Automotive. But many kids like this school because of the simple fact that it is a State...
