☀️ Good morning parents/guardians:

We hope you are enjoying your summer! We’re a little over a month away from our first day of school for 2026, and wanted to share some important information for you to prepare early.

1) 📌 Please check out the link from our CSDNB website for information about the calendar, uniform, and supply list. That can be found here: https://www.csdnb.org/resources/back-to-school-guide

2) 🎟️Our back to school bash will be at Walnut Hill on Thursday, August 20th from 4-6pm. Pulaski will have the entire administrative team to meet, as well as brochures about this coming school year!

3) ❗️Pulaski will have non-negotiables this year involving attendance, tardiness, school preparedness, cell phones, and uniforms.

4) 👕Uniforms: Our students will be expected to arrive in uniform each day. Failure to meet those expectations will not only result in consequences, but loss of activities and rewards for that student which may include school dances, PBIS rewards, and end of the year activities.
🚫Jeans, sweatpants, and yoga pants are NOT uniform.

5) ✏️ 📓 Every student will be expected to have a binder, 5 single subject notebooks, a pen and pencil, and pencil pouch that they will carry throughout the school day. This will be included as part of their academic preparedness grade.

6) 📱 Cell phones - Cell phones will need to be turned off and placed in a yondr pouch throughout the school day. Pulaski is exploring the possibility of 8th graders turning them off and keeping them in their lockers. The same consequences will be had if a student is caught with a cell phone on them during the day, or if caught using during the day.

7) ⏰ Attendance and tardiness: Pulaski wants our students to show up everyday on time. Students who are tardy to school more than once in a week will not be able to purchase anything with their PBIS points.

🥇 Pulaski will also be rewarding students who attend 90% or more during each month.

Early dismissal again today for the heat advisory.

^Our 7th grade field trip is still on. It will be a modified shortened schedule with extra water breaks and cooling stations!

Due to forecasted high temperatures and humidity, all CSDNB schools will be dismissed two hours early today, Friday, June 12, 2026.

Schools will follow the district's Two-Hour Early Dismissal Schedule. Lunch will be served. New Britain High School will maintain its planned exam schedule.
