Due to the forecast for extremely high temperatures, CODE RED will be in effect today Saturday, June 6 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Accordingly, the cooling center located at 6 Kirkpatrick Street will be open between those hours.

Please be advised, we attempt to accommodate all guests. However, space is limited.

NO FOOD OR DRINK PERMITTED.

Entrants in the New Brunswick Free Public Library’s 19th Annual Photography Contest will be featured in exhibitions at the Heldrich Hotel and in the library’s Carl T. Valenti Community Room.

The theme of this year’s contest was “Proud of New Jersey: Celebrate 250 Years of New Jersey Through Your Lens.” Participants were invited to capture the people, places, and stories that define the Garden State—past and present.

An opening reception will be on Friday, June 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the library. After the announcement of the winners, participants go to the Heldrich Hotel to view both winning and other photographs.
