Thank you to a team of hardworking students as well as Rutgers Gardens and other Rutgers departments, we are proud to unveil a new teaching garden outside the Holly House in Rutgers Gardens that will act as an outdoor learning space for Rutgers Professional Golf Turf Management students for years to come. It was dedicated on June 22 in memory of Fran Koppell, our friend, colleague, long-time turf program coordinator, and second "mom" to many turf students. Fran's beautiful family joined faculty, staff, students, friends for the occasion. Click the link to learn more about the teaching garden!


A new teaching garden in memory Fran Koppell, former Rutgers Professional Golf Turf Management Program coordinator, was unveiled at Rutgers Gardens. The garden was designed by a SEBS Landscape Architecture student and built by Rutgers Gardens student employees.
