On Tuesday January 12th, Mayor James Cahill and Chief Vincent Sabo presided over the swearing-in of six new police officers in a ceremony held at City Hall.

These officers recently graduated from the 21-week Basic Course for Police Officers at the Cape May County Police Academy and will soon begin the rigorous NBPD field training program.

Our new officers come from a variety of backgrounds and previous experiences, to include serving as New Jersey State Correctional Officers, New Brunswick Park Rangers, members of other area police departments, and veterans of the United States Army.

The new officers joining the ranks of the New Brunswick Police Department are as follows:
