Our mission is to demystify and destigmatize the language around emotional health, with non-judgmental, data driven information to help you lean into a deeper understanding of what mental, behavioral, and emotional health and intelligence looks like, in New Canaan
Mental health challenges and problematic drug or alcohol use are uncomfortable and often misunderstood topics – everywhere in society
, especially in New Canaan. Yet we know that nearly 50% of the population* are individually struggling with those issues, touching virtually every family locally and nationally. As a small town, we can balance the desire for privacy with the strength of our connections, relationships, and resources to help individuals get the help they need. Healthier communities begin with neighbors helping neighbors:
1) Making it socially acceptable to talk about these challenges removes the associated stigma preventing access to proper care and
2) Ensures a coordinated array of mental health services are made available.
