Dear Students and Parents,
We understand your students are eager to get their iPads and look at their schedules; however due to technology errors schedules are NOT ready yet. Please do not log into Powerschool, Schoology, or Google Classroom to look at your schedules and email your counselors. Counselors are working very hard to rectify the situation. You will receive your schedule at Open House on August 8, 2023.

Again, please do NOT email your counselor for changes that you may see on your ipad. The information that is on your ipad is subject to change.

Do you need help filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid?

College Goal Sunday, Indiana’s largest FAFSA filing event, will be held Sunday, November 6th, 2022 from 2 – 4pm (Local Time). FAFSA filing experts from across Indiana will be available during the event to help all attendees with filing their FAFSA.

IUSB (eastern time), Purdue Northwest (Westville) and Ivy Tech Valparaiso will be hosting this event on Sunday.

NPHS will be hosting the ACT on Saturday, December 10. The deadline to register without any late fees is November 4, 2022. Registration is done online. Those who wish to take the ACT need to create an account online, register and pay the fee ($63 for ACT without writing and $88 with writing). Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch can contact their school counselor for a fee waiver.

You will need about 30 minutes to register online, a credit card for payment (or fee waiver code if you qualify) and a head shot photo to upload.

The ACT is a college entrance exam and is used by colleges, universities and scholarships at schools/organizations across the country. It can also be used to meet the Postsecondary-Ready Competency requirement (if benchmark scores are achieved) of the Graduation Pathways.
