Indiana 211 is accepting damage reports for the counties mapped below.

To help establish a comprehensive assessment of damage, residents can call 866-211-9966 or visit the Indiana 211 website (on.in.gov/IN-211).

Collecting assessments via this process will help IDHS determine damage estimates and develop the next course of action in the disaster recovery process. 211 can also help residents connect to local resources to aid in response and recovery.

MAJOR DISASTER DECLARATION APPROVED

A Federal Major Disaster Declaration has officially been approved for the recent flooding that impacted Henry County and surrounding counties.

This declaration is a significant step forward in the recovery process and will allow federal disaster assistance and additional recovery resources to become available.

Henry County Emergency Management continues working with local, state, and federal partners to support recovery efforts throughout the county.

We are currently awaiting additional information from FEMA and our partners with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security regarding available assistance, eligibility requirements, and the application process.

As soon as official guidance becomes available, we will share that information with the public.

Please continue to follow Henry County Emergency Management.

Recovery will take time, but this declaration represents an important step toward getting additional assistance to our community.
