Colorado's annual statewide Free Fishing Weekend is held on the first full weekend of June, which falls on June 6 and 7. During these two days, both residents and non-residents of all ages can fish in any public water across the state without a fishing license or a Habitat Stamp.
While the license requirements are waived, it is important to know that all other fishing regulations—such as bag limits, size restrictions, and tackle rules—remain fully in effect.
