The New Castle County DED works to establish initiatives to increase quality of life and develop an innovation ecosystem (including suppliers, distributors, customers, competitors and governmental agencies) to support the acceleration of scalable start-up companies. The DED maximizes opportunities to market New Castle County as a viable option for business while fostering growth within the small and medium size business sectors. A strong emphasis is placed on building intergovernmental and corporate relationships, supporting existing incubators and scalable work force development programs.
