This event is ONLY for the Castle Hills neighborhood. No yard waste, tires or flammable materials. Location details will be posted when they arrive.

Reminder we collect $20 dues yearly. The dues are used for snow removal. You can pay or stop by at
1 Glen Ave with Sharon or 11 Maynard Dr with Kit.

Castle Hills Community yard sale scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026. We have three signs that will be posted around the neighborhood. Please feel free to tell a friend and spread the news.

Snow removal update. CHCA just wanted to let you know we spent over $6000 on snow removal this year. We were very blessed to have these funds and clear our streets in a timely manner to help resume "normalcy".
Anyone interested in paying the $20 annual dues can do so in person or by mail to Sharon Hughart (CHCA President) 1 Glen Avenue or Kit Krienen (CHCA Treasurer) 11 Maynard Dr. Please include your name and address for our records.

Evergreen Waste clarification. Only half of Castle Hills changed pick up day from Wednesday to Thursday.

You can call, text or check the website to verify your address day. 302-635-7055 or evergreenws.com.

Just a few FYIs.
They apparently called everyone who was affected by the change. I did not get a call because they had my landline which I no longer use so I had to update my cell phone. That was part of MY confusion.

They do offer neighborhood rates. (It's a high percentage of participation). The more we spread the word the better the rates for everyone . Pass on the good news.

Friendly reminder. Castle Hills does have an active Civic Association. We collect yearly dues of $20. This primarily covers snow removal.
Dues can be cash or check and can be hand delivered or mailed to Kit Krienen (treasurer)at 11 Maynard Dr or Sharon Hughart (president) at 1 Glen Ave.
Please understand we are volunteers helping to make our community better. We do our best to support the needs of our neighbors. Please do your part by spreading the word to your friends and neighbors. We strive to continue to provide snow removal and guidance but we can't do it alone. It takes a village. Be safe.

Hi Castle Hills, neighbors,

Remember, if you have an opportunity to clear the sewer drains near your homes, please do.

This will help with drainage as we get some warmer temperatures and possibly some rain.
