Friends are pleased to announce we are ACCEPTING DONATIONS: books, CD's, DVD's, puzzles beginning TODAY, Monday March 16, 2026!!! Our donation boxes are in place at the library's entrances.

Friends are happy to share the library's post to our page!! Next week we plan to restock the Upper Level Book Shop. We are so excited to welcome members and patrons when the move to the (almost done with construction) Upper Level is complete!!!

We are grateful for members who have continued to renew membership and new members who joined Friends during the library remodel. We appreciate everyone who continued to browse and purchase from our shelves while the construction progressed. Your purchases helped us continue to support library activities and staff.

SUMMER READ IS HERE!!! Friends of the NC-HC Library join Children's Library Manager, Miss Lynn, to bring very exciting learning opportunities to all who wish to join us for Marvelous Mondays at Henry County Arts Park Pavilion, 10 AM. Thank you, Friends' members who returned their Annual Meeting ballots. 2025-2026 Officers elected are: President Joyce Wi******er, Vice President Christy Tompkins, Secretary Kaye Lindsey, Treasurer Gloria Corbin. Re-elected to serve as Board Members 2025-2027 are: Joyce Wi******er, Judy Jacquay, Karen Trissler, Beth Criswell, Karen Bimber.

We appreciate everyone who has visited the remodeled and newly designed Friends Book Room. If you haven't stopped by yet, please come browse. While our Upper Level Book Shop is being refreshed, Choice Books are located on shelving to the left of the sink area.

We are looking forward to a summer remodel completion. In the mean time, Join us for Summer Read.

Thank you, everyone, for continuing to view our page for updates. The library remodel is progressing on schedule.

We have many DVD's now shelved in Friends' Upper Level Book Shop, and on the tower outside the Book Shop.

You can also connect to Friends' online sales from this page by scrolling down to our eBay information.

Keep checking in, changes will be announced as the remodel moves to Phase 2.

Friends of the NC-HC Library THANK YOU, our members and patrons, for continuing to shop and purchase items from the Book Shop and its surrounding area (the tower, trough, and cart) during these first 3 months of the library remodel!!! We are restocking as you purchase books, CD's, puzzles, etc. All items are PRICED AS MARKED. We Love Our Library signs are available FOR $10.00 at Main Circulation Desk. We appreciate all your support as the remodel project continues. You may also pick up our brochure on display outside the Book Shop and at both Circulation Desks to renew your membership OR to become a new Friends member.
We also have books for sale on eBay.
