When residents ask for something, I listen and I work to deliver.

Beginning with the new tax season on September 1, the Clarkstown Town Clerk’s Office is offering residents the option to receive helpful tax bill updates by text message.

To opt in, simply text “TAXINFO” to 845-644-6899

When your tax bill is ready, you will receive a text message with a link. From there, you can enter your property address, view your tax bill, and pay online if you choose.

This does not replace your mailed tax bill. Residents who sign up will still receive their regular tax bill in the mail. The text message is simply an additional, convenient way to know when your bill is available and access it more easily.

Residents asked for a simpler way to receive tax bill information, and I’m proud that we were able to make it happen.

Please reach out to my office with any additional questions 845-639-2010.

🚨 Clarkstown North & South High Schools: Hall of Heroes Submission 🚨

Dear Clarkstown Community,

As the Superintendent of Schools, it is my distinct honor to announce the creation of the "Hall of Heroes" at both North High School and South High School. We are establishing these permanent displays to recognize, honor, and remember the courageous alumni from our district who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

If you are an alumnus who served, or if you would like to nominate a family member or loved one who attended our schools and served, please complete this form. The information and photographs collected here will be used to create plaques and digital displays in the main corridors of both high schools.

Thank you for helping us honor our hometown heroes.

Sincerely,

Marc P. Baiocco, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools

Congratulations to all of the wonderful couples who I was blessed to marry in the month of June!

No matter how many ceremonies I perform, it never gets old watching two people promise to spend the rest of their lives together. Every couple has their own story, and it’s truly an honor to be a small part of such a special day. 🙏

Thank you for allowing me to share in these unforgettable moments. I wish each of you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, good health, and many wonderful memories together.

God bless you as you begin this new chapter together. 🤍 💒 🤍 💍 🤍

A heartfelt thank you to Joyce Dlugatch of Congers, NY for creating this beautiful painting for me celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and the spirit of our great nation!!!
It is truly a wonderful piece of art, and I am honored to have it proudly displayed in the hallway outside the Clarkstown Town Clerk’s Office for everyone to enjoy.
Thank you, Joyce, for sharing your talent and helping commemorate 250 years of our nation’s history. Your generosity and creativity will be appreciated by all who pass by. 🇺🇸

Today I had the honor of attending the Lions Club Award Luncheon, where I was humbled to receive the Robert J. Uplinger Distinguished Service Award.

I have never been someone who is comfortable being recognized. I have always found more joy in recognizing and celebrating others.

Service has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I watched my mother dedicate her career to helping disabled children and adults at the New York Institute for the Blind and Deaf. Her compassion, kindness, and commitment to others taught me the importance of giving back and putting people first.

Since taking office in 2024, that commitment has only grown stronger. Serving our seniors, veterans, and every resident who walks through the doors of the Town Clerk’s Office is truly a privilege. My goal has always been to make sure people know they have a place to turn and that they are never forgotten.

No one serves a community alone. It takes a team, dedicated volunteers, and organizations like the Lions Club that quietly make a difference every single day. I am grateful for everything the Lions Club has done for our community over the years, and I want to congratulate all of today’s deserving honorees. It was a privilege to celebrate alongside each of you.

Congratulations to today’s honorees:

* Everett Michael Conklin, District Governor 2025–2026
* Barbara Chuck
* Bruce Weinfeld
* Louis Ramos
* Jamie Andersen
* Kristen Valenti
* Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann

Thank you again to the Lions Club for this meaningful recognition. I am truly grateful and will continue working every day to serve the residents of Clarkstown with compassion, integrity, and dedication.

Today we celebrate Juneteenth, the day when the final enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation was given to free the last remaining slaves at the end of the U.S. Civil War. Reminder that all government offices in the Town of Clarkstown are closed to commemorate this day of liberation.
