Sometimes the smallest hands make the biggest impact. ❤️🚒

We recently received a donation to the New Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department that truly touched our hearts — a handful of change, along with a very special letter, from a child who simply wanted to help our fire department.

To some, it may look like just a handful of coins. To us, it means so much more.

Those coins belonged to a child who could have spent them on anything, but instead chose to give them to their local firefighters. That kind of generosity, especially at such a young age, is something pretty special.

This isn’t the first time we’ve had a child do something like this, and every single time it reminds us just how wonderful the young people in our community are. There is something incredibly heartwarming about a young person deciding, completely from their own heart, “I want to help.”

To our young supporter: THANK YOU.
Thank you for your donation, your letter, and most of all, for having such a giving heart. Please know that your change meant far more to us than you probably realize.

We’ll remember this one for a long time. ❤️

Now that we’ve gotten a little sleep and had a chance to take it all in… WOW. What an incredible day. ❤️ 🚒 ⛳

From all of us at the New Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department, 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙆 𝙔𝙊𝙐 to every single person who helped make yesterday’s golf tournament such an amazing success.

𝙏𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙨 — your generosity means more to us than we can possibly put into words. Year after year, businesses and individuals step up to support our department, and we never take that support for granted. This tournament simply would not be possible without you.

𝙏𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙜𝙤𝙡𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙨 — thank you for coming out, having a great time with us, supporting our department, and making the day so much fun. Seeing so many familiar faces come back each year, along with plenty of new ones, is one of our favorite parts of this event.

And to our 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 who worked behind the scenes — THANK YOU. There are so many hours of planning, organizing, hauling, setting up, selling, serving, cleaning up, and handling a hundred little details that most people never see. Yesterday happened because all of you were willing to pitch in and make it happen.

This tournament is a fundraiser, but it has become so much more than that. It’s a day filled with friendship, laughter, community, and people coming together to support the men and women who are there when our community needs us.

𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙧, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙜𝙤𝙡𝙛𝙚𝙧, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧’𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧.
