Applications are now being accepted for the Cumberland County Police Testing Consortium. Although we are located in York County, the Fairview Township Police Department is one of the agencies that participate in this process.
If you are interested in a career as a police officer, this is a great way to get started since you can test one time for 14 different police departments. There is a $75 fee, and testing will take place on March 26 and March 27, 2022.

A reminder that our lobby will be closing at noon today and reopening at 8:00 am Monday January 3rd. Officers will be available 24-hours a day and can be reached by calling 911 if needed.
We wish everyone a happy New Year, and want to remind everyone to celebrate New Year's Eve responsibly. If you will be drinking, please don't drive. The risk of doing so is not worth it, so plan ahead and have a designated driver. Also please be considerate of your neighbors if you have a party or are legally setting off consumer fireworks.
As we reflect on 2021, we again want to thank the residents of Fairview Township for your support throughout this past year. Over this holiday season we were overwhelmed with various cards and gifts including cookies, popcorn and even gift cards for local restaurants. Your support and generosity is truly appreciated and we look forward to serving you in the upcoming year.
So that our civilian staff can spend the Christmas holiday with their families, the police department lobby will be closing at 11:00 am on Thursday December 23rd and will re-open on Monday December 27th.
Similarly, on Thursday December 30th, the lobby will be closing at noon and will re-open on Monday January 3rd for the New Year holiday.
Even though the lobby is closed on the above dates, should you need police services, officers will still be working 24/7 and you can reach them by calling 911.
We hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The Fairview Township Fire Department will be escorting Santa through the Township this coming Saturday. Please see the attached schedule for approximate times if your kids want to wave to Santa and show him that they belong on the "nice" list.
Thank you to everyone who has already dropped off toys for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. These toys will go to some less fortunate kids in the local area to try and make their Christmas a little more special. We will be collecting toys through Monday December 13th, so there is still time to help. Please remember that the toys should be new and unwrapped.
There is a drop box in our lobby, which is open Monday-Friday, 8:00am -4:30pm. If you can't make it during that time, please call the station at 717-901-5267 during normal business hours and we will arrange for an officer to stop by your home or business to pick up the gifts.
Ofc. Miske from Fairview Township has participated in this great event each year. Thank you to the Silver Spring Township Police Department and everyone else involved for including us once again.
***UPDATE*** The cat and her owner have been reunited.
Two days ago, this friendly female cat was found on Maple Shade Drive, Lewisberry. Her name may be Adali. If you know who the owner is, please contact the Fairview Township police Department at 71-901-5267.
