Before we get too far into 2023, we'd like to highlight one of NPWA's many accomplishments last year.

In June, we were honored with the 5-year Directors Award for our efforts with the Partnership for Safe Water’s Distribution System Optimization Program (DSOP) during the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Annual Conference and Exposition held in San Antonio, Texas.

This award acknowledges the Authority’s commitment to excellence in distribution system operations in providing high quality safe drinking water to the customer’s tap above and beyond regulatory standards. The assessment involves an evaluation of distribution system operations and performance, including pressure levels and frequency of water main breaks.

Pictured (center) is NPWA's Director of Asset Management and Strategic Initiatives, Dan Preston, accepting the award.
