Pressure Applied, Standards Met 🔥

Poolees from four Recruiting Sub-Stations converged for the North-Central Flank Pool Function to tackle the Initial Strength Test (IST) — the required physical benchmark before shipping to recruit training. Pull-ups, a timed plank, and a 1.5-mile run measured raw strength and endurance, while drill instructors were present throughout, applying pressure and testing mental fortitude. Physical performance matters, but the ability to stay composed, disciplined, and relentless under stress is what separates those preparing to earn the title Marine.

If you’re ready to be tested — physically and mentally — contact your local Marine recruiter and begin the journey.

🔥 A Glimpse of What Awaits 🔥

Last Saturday, the South-Central flank pool function turned preparation into reality. Two drill instructors from Parris Island delivered a firsthand look at the intensity, discipline, and standards of recruit training—no filters, no shortcuts. Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marines followed it up by showcasing the weapons systems that Marines train with and employ, reinforcing what it truly means to be part of the profession of arms.

Think you’re ready? Prove it. Step forward, embrace the challenge, and earn the title—nothing is given.

🏔️ Honoring Service on the Slopes 🇺🇸

Last Saturday marked the inaugural Heroes on the Mountain at Jack Frost Mountain Resort—an event dedicated to honoring service members from every branch of the U.S. military. Marines were proud to be on the mountain, engaging the community at our recruiting table and carrying the Marine Corps flag down the slopes as a reminder that service is rooted in challenge, purpose, and shared experience.

If you’re looking for adventure with meaning—challenge with purpose—find out where the Marine Corps can take you.

🧊 Ice Cold. No Let-Up.

RS Harrisburg stayed cold-blooded last quarter. Consistent effort, sharp ex*****on, and a team that doesn’t crack under pressure kept the standard exactly where it belongs—high. When it’s time to perform, this station doesn’t heat up. We stay ice cold.

Stay locked in. Stay ready. If you want to be part of what’s next, step forward.
