We are confident.

We have some (friendly) competition going on between the Fire Fighters, Police, and EMT this Friday at 10:30am! The three teams will shop for Faith Assembly to gather donations for our Independence From Hunger Campaign! The team with the most savings will get bragging rights for a year (you should see the email chain going on 😂)! Stop in this Friday to support our local heroes as they help out a great organization that benefits those in need here in the local community.

Delayed Post

It’s been a busy couple weeks for station 68. From multiple evenings of severe storms and damage, to multiple structure fires, Sta 68 has remained steady.

FTFD averages between 80-100 calls per month. This month alone FTFD is at 115 to date.

At the height of the July 4th storm, FTFD had 9 staffed vehicles on the street handling incidents.

Thank you to the volunteers and career staff for the countless hours recently.

While Wednesday nights are typically reserved for training at FTFD, this week we took a much needed break. Our department like many others in the region, has been extremely busy since the holiday weekend. Instead of training, tonight our members just simply enjoyed a meal together and had some time to decompress and share stories of how their families were affected by the storm.
