While you might be familiar with single-serving MREs, did you know that the DLA Distribution San Joaquin team specializes in Unitized Group Rations - specialized kits that bring a "home-cooked feel" to the field and can feed up to 50 personnel at once?

Whether it's the self-heating UGR-Express, the 50-person-serving Heat & Serve, or customized Marine kits, these rations are designed to sustain our troops, FEMA personnel, and government partners during combat, exercises and natural disasters.

A huge shoutout to the dedicated UGR workforce! Operating on an "adapt and overcome" mentality, this team continually innovates to keep our warfighters fueled and ready for any mission.💪

Mission Spotlight: Logistics Excellence at the EDC ⚓️📦

Yesterday, DLA Distribution Susquehanna welcomed Mechanicsburg native Rear Adm. Eric Ver Hage back to his home state for a tour of the Eastern Distribution Center led by Navy Capt. Andy Henwood, commander of DLA Distribution Susquehanna.

While in the region for Navy Week Harrisburg, hosted by Navy Office of Community Outreach - NAVCO, Ver Hage saw firsthand the massive scale of operations our team manages daily. The team highlighted how fleet readiness depends on the precision logistics executed right here in Central Pennsylvania.

It was an honor to showcase our mission to a local leader who understands that victory begins with a world-class supply chain. Thank you for the visit, Sir!

From the packing table to the drop zone—it’s a zero-fail contract with our joint partners. 🪂

Watch as Army parachute riggers from DLA Distribution Susquehanna and tactical air control party specialists from the 148th Air Support Operations Squadron, 193rd Special Operations Wing, put their training to the test.

Stepping out of a UH-60 Black Hawk operated by the 2-104th General Support Aviation Battalion, 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, at Fort Indiantown Gap, these paratroopers are proving their readiness one static-line jump at a time.

Trusting their lives to the gear they maintain ensures a unified homeland defense. This is what reclaiming readiness looks like. ✈️

📸 SELFIES, SUCCESS AND SYSTEM UPGRADES! 📸

This week, DLA Distribution Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, achieved a major modernization milestone with the successful go-live of the new Warehouse Management System!

To celebrate this massive team effort, DLA Distribution Commanding General Army Brig. Gen. Kevin Cotman and Acting Deputy Commander Joe Faris were boots-on-the-ground. They toured the floor to see the new system in action, thanked the workforce for their dedication and took some time to snap a few selfies with the incredible team making it all happen!

Implementing WMS is a critical step in modernizing our logistics network, ensuring we continue to provide fast, efficient, and top-tier support to our warfighters around the globe.

A huge shoutout to the entire DLA Distribution Oklahoma City team for a successful rollout - your hard work is driving the future of DLA Distribution.
