Father’s Day is a time to celebrate the men who provide guidance, support, and encouragement through every stage of life. Today, we honor the fathers in our community and recognize the lasting impact they make at home, at work, and in the lives of those around them.

To the fathers serving in public safety, your influence extends far beyond your badge or uniform. The integrity, dedication, and commitment you bring to your profession are the same values your children witness every day. The example you set through your actions speaks louder than words ever could.

We understand that fatherhood in public safety often comes with unique challenges. Missed holidays, interrupted family time, long shifts, and late-night calls are sacrifices made in service to others. While those moments may go unnoticed by many, they are deeply appreciated by the families and communities you serve.

For those inquiring in abundance, this was not Ms. Nyema White. The post merely mentions her as being missing, that is the only comparison to this other case where Anderson was recovered.

SPECULATION GROWS AS TIP LEADS AIKEN COUNTY COPS TO HUMAN REMAINS IN BLACKVILLE

Authorities have uncovered human remains off a highway in Barnwell County, with some residents speculating on who it may be.

The discovery brought renewed attention to the missing-persons cases of Krystal Channel Anderson (left), a 30-year-old mother of four from Wagener who went missing on August 20, 2022, and 18-year-old Nyema Askew White (right), a Silver Bluff High School senior who disappeared on May 4, 2026, in New Ellenton.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they were “acting on information” when investigators located the site just off S.C. Highway 37 in Blackville. They just haven't said who the tip was from, though the information comes as Anderson's boyfriend is scheduled to stand trial for her murder, without a body.
