That time of year again.
Get items inside or secure down. Have a safe place to go if a Tornado 🌪 warning ⚠️ or Tornado 🌪 Emergency is given.
Have flashlights, extra water, and none perishable food on hand for extended power outages. Watch for flash flooding and never drive on roads with water flowing over them. Keep safe out there!

Scattered to numerous severe storms are possible late this afternoon through this evening across most of western and central North Dakota. The main hazards will be 2 inch diameter hail, damaging winds up to 70 mph, and a possible tornado. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings.

Well with the rising cost of everything, I have decided not to renew my NREMT, SD EMT-I, ND EMT, & Instructor certifications.
32 years is a long time in EMS
positions. At 57 years old my hearing is going and eye sight.
Not to mention 10 years on kidney dialysis. My mind says yes but body is thinking otherwise 😕. I have enjoyed working with wonderful people and on some amazing crews. (Fire/Rescue, EMS, Hospital) 15 or so years as a CNA.
what's next you may ask?
I still like emergency management, and teaching so I will still work with scouts on First-aid and CPR adventures and merit badges. And continue to take the classes in Emergency Chaplain from the Assembly of God Theological Seminar.

18 years multiple certifications in the VFD. 32 years NREMT, 20 some years AHA Instructor.
