The CHIEFTAIN of CLAN CUNNINGHAM is SIR JOHN M. Sir John is an active member on the Governing Council for Clan Cunningham International. Clan Cunningham International, Is the only Clan Cunningham organization is recognized by United States Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Charitable Organization, which means that all donations to CCI are eligible for to be deducted from your personal Income Tax filing to the extent that the law permits. CCI is incorporated in the State of Tennessee, as a nonprofit organization. (Our EIN # is 45-3671057)
In 2009 upon the advice and counsel of the LORD LYON, KING OF ARMS of SCOTLAND, that Clan Cunningham USA change its name to Clan Cunningham International. We are the only Clan Cunningham organization to have received this personal recommendation from the LORD LYON. Membership is open to members of Clan Cunningham, be it by birth, marriage or adoption. As well as individuals that once lived in the District of Cunninghame or have a sincere interest for Clan Cunningham. Membership is $20 per year for individuals and families alike. Clan Cunningham International is governed by the Governing Council which is elected every three years. The President of the Governing Council can only 6 years as the President, be it consecutive terms or broken up terms. The Governing Council meetings are held regularly throughout the year via Skype. Minutes are taken at each meeting and posted on this web-site. All business is conducted by a quorum of the leadership in accordance with the By-Laws of the organization. In the Documents Section of our web-site you are able to review CCI’s Bylaws, a copy of the Unicorn our quarterly newsletter as well as other pertinent information.
