A follow up to our previous post because you asked. It’s a progression lift! The initial lift occurred from the pedestal under the machine followed by the secondary lift from beneath the tracks. You also asked about booming down. Not recommend IMHO. While booming down, as the machine sits, will raise the front half of the track, what happens to the back half of the track??? It goes down, further injuring the victim. One may suggest rotating the boom over perpendicular to the track then booming down to raise the entire track. That will work in raising the entire track but you will have significantly increased the weight on the victim as you rotated the machine over him.
