The New Hampton Pool is a public swimming pool located in Mikkelson Park in New Hampton, IA. Our facility includes a drop slide, three diving boards, a large water slide, a splash pad, floating obstacles, a submarine slide, and a large main pool with two zero depth entries, as well as a full stocked concessions stand. We are open Monday-Friday 12:00p-1:30p for adult swim and 1:30p-7:00p for open s

wim. Saturdays and Sundays we have open swim from 12:00p-5:00p. Cost of daily admission is $7 for anyone 3-64 years of age, $5 for seniors (65+), infants 2 and under are FREE. Season passes may be purchased at the Parks & Rec office located at 112 E. (641)394-5464

Hello everyone! These reusable water balloons are maybe one of the most ingenious inventions when it comes to water fun, but please help us by collecting all of them when you are finished.

We have been sucking them into our vacuum and pumps. We would hate to have something break and have to close.

Did you notice the water was bit chilly? In the pool world we like to call that "refreshing" ;) We are waiting on a part for the heaters, as soon as that's in they will be fixed. Luckily, mother nature is finally cooperating so that should help as well! Thanks for your understanding.

Today is the day! Season 2026 begins at 3pm.

Remember we do have altered hours Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday due to training our new lifeguards.

Beginning Thursday our hours will resume as normal.

Tomorrow is opening day. Please be aware of altered hours this first week. We are hard at work training our new guards.
