Behind the harvest highlights are countless challenges—unpredictable weather, rising costs, labor shortages, and risks that make every season uncertain. As many farmers reach retirement age, too few young people are wanting a career with those uncertainties. With every farm that disappears, we lose generations of knowledge, and our American food supply becomes increasingly at risk.

Supporting local farms is about more than 'buying local.' It's about upholding local jobs, local economies, open farm-land & ensuring we have American-grown food for generations to come.

While the 'wins' like the beautiful harvest we have this year, deserve celebration... Please don't forget all the challenges we face daily.
