Friends of Harmonie State Park

We are a non-profit group that supports Harmonie State Park. We raise money via donations and events. What is your favorite memory of Harmonie State Park?

Sitting around a campfire with family and friends? Driving through looking for deer? A picnic by the Wabash? Whatever your memory, help us make sure the park is there for future generations to create the same memories. Of course we will take your tax deductible donations, but we can also use volunteers - board members, construction, web page designers - all are welcome.

We’ve made great progress on the Small Pond Trail Project in the campground. See our Before and Today photos. Huge thanks to our local donors, HSP personnel and DNR. There is a lot more work to be done, and we’re $7,000 away from reaching our goal. Please support the Friends of Harmonie with Raffle Ticket and Merchandise purchases at our events and in the Park Campstore. It’s not Too early to think about Labor Day Weekend. And there’s always a reason to think about Ice Cream Sundaes. Come for the day, or camp overnight. We will also be kicking off a GREAT RAFFLE. Not 1, Not 2, but 3 prizes for ONE lucky winner. Stay tuned. All proceeds support events and projects in Harmonie State Park.

What a Fun day with perfect weather for the Back To School Bash at Harmonie State Park. The Friends of Harmonie sponsored the water slides, Foam machine, and Cotton Candy. Here are a few of the 150 adorable customers who stopped by. And leave it to the men to show off their perfect Cotton Candy. Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers and donors who made this day possible.

Biggest and Best Back To School Bash yet! New this year: Mudpuppy Palace and Survive Live house fire safety presented by our New Harmony Fire Department. Foam Machine, Water Inflatables and Cotton Candy sponsored by Friends of Harmonie. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Gate Fee Applies. Everything at the Back to School Bash is FREE! Campsites are available.

Great fun at our Christmas in July. Water Relay, Cookie Decorating, Slime, Santa Visits, and having a blast in the “Snow”. CONGRATULATIONS to Cody Crane for BEST DECORATED CAMPGROUND! Cody won 2 Free Nights Camping. Huge Thanks to our many wonderful volunteers: Kathy, Camry, Mellody, Emma, Barry, Janet, Jackie, Eddie, Tim, Stanton and the Staff at Harmonie State Park. Hurry out to Harmonie State Park for Christmas fun. Decorate Cookies, make Slime, play in the foam Snow and see Santa from 1:00- 3:00.

We are decorated and ready to go Saturday morning. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Gate Fee applies. Decorate some Christmas cookies, play and have fun, wear your Ugly Christmas shirt to win a prize. Take pictures with Santa! We’ve got you covered, rain or shine.
