New Harmony Fire Association

New Harmony Fire Association New Harmony Fire Association is a non-profit. Supporting the Harmony Valley Fire District.

It is the mission of the Harmony Valley Volunteer Fire Association (HVVFA)to support the fire department in providing both equipment and training in order to keep up with the many demands of a 21st century fire department. Through fundraising efforts and donor support, the HVVFA provides crucial funding to aid the department in purchasing vehicles and safety equipment. Such efforts as the annual A

pple Harvest Festival fundraiser, provides the bulk of our financial support. The Harmony Valley Fire District provides fire protection and emergency first responders to the greater New Harmony valley of southern Utah. The rea covered is approximately 28 square miles and includes the town of New Harmony itself, along with a six mile stretch of Interstate 15. The fire department provides both structural fire protection and wild land fire suppression capabilities to the 2100 residents in the valley. With numerous vehicle accidents occurring each year on I15 and valley surface streets, the department’s capability of responding to motor vehicle accidents and providing life saving extrication fills a vital role. The training and equipment to carry out these operations is vital to the safety of both the residents and those transiting through our beautiful valley.
