Lots of people waiting in line today for early voting in New Hartford.
Early voting continues this week at the New Hartford Municipal Building. Hours this week are MWF from 10am to 6pm. Tuesday & Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm and next Saturday & Sunday from 10 am to 3pm.
Every vote matters and record numbers of people have already voted. Our Republican candidates need your vote!

Congratulations to Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente on being sworn in for his 4th term. It was a lovely ceremony in the newly renovated Legislative Chamber. The NHRC congratulates Judge Bill Virkler, Ward 2 Councilman Dick Lenart, and Ward 4 Councilman Rich Woodland on their re-election and swearing-in today. All three were given their oath of office by Judge Kevin Copeland using the original bible belonging to New Hartford founding father Jedidiah Sanger. Thanks to the New Hartford Historical Society for sharing this special treasure for the occasion. The Judges and the Councilmen spoke of their commitment to the citizens of our community given the changes and issues facing New Hartford going forward. This was a momentous start to the New decade!
