We sent our CCA kids Back to School not only prepared with backpacks, shoes, uniforms, books, and haircuts, they went back this week inspired. We pray for a safe and productive year for our students! Thank you to all of our Alice Pierce Uniform, backpack, and supply donors, Beulah Heights Church, Faithful Stitchers at Faith United Methodist North Haven. And a special congratulations shout out to Miguel Torres for graduating from barber school at Academy Di Capelli and then giving back by providing haircuts at the event!

CCA is proud to announce a partnership with Neighborhood Housing Services to make a newly renovated home in the Hill neighborhood available at an affordable price to a former CCA family ready for homeownership. A day at the lake, a break from the routine, and time well spent together. Our annual CCA Staff Day at the Lake gave us the opportunity to relax, laugh, and enjoy everything from boating and canoeing to fishing and volleyball. Moments like these remind us that caring for one another is just as important as the work we do caring for the community each day. We're grateful for this amazing team. Last week, CCA's Landlord Engagement Specialist, Fateria Sheats, hosted a Landlord Appreciation Lunch—to say thank you to landlords who partner with us to house families and individuals in our programs. While we are grateful for all the landlords and rental agents who work with us, Above and Beyond Awards were given to: Alex Michlin, Amir and Yvette Glenn, Barbara Chow-Yen, David Richardson Jr., Julio Lopes, Samod Rankins. Thank you all for providing safe and affordable homes so families and individuals can thrive.
