π OUR AMERICAN JOB CENTER WAS OUT IN THE COMMUNITY! π
Our American Job Center team was proud to be part of βWhat Happens in Mamaβs House: Breaking the Cycle,β a powerful women-only symposium centered on healing, education, connection, accountability, and hope.
Hosted by the Hang Time Her Time family in partnership with the Connecticut Hall of Change, the event reached maximum capacity and brought together women from across the community, including leaders, counselors, advocates, healing professionals, students, and women with lived experience.
The conversations were real and necessaryβaddressing trauma, generational cycles, silence, survival, unhealthy patterns, and the power women have to create change for themselves and the generations that follow.
For the American Job Center, being in the community means meeting people where they are, connecting them to resources and opportunities, and supporting the whole person as they work toward a stronger future.
We were honored to be in a room filled with women supporting, encouraging, connecting, and pouring into one another. When women are empowered with resources, support, and opportunity, entire families and communities can be strengthened.
