Several months ago, our page Elizabeth requested that she be allowed to name all of our book carts. The first among them, the legend herself, Dolly Parton. Or Dolly 'Carton,' if you please.

Dolly was a well-regarded philanthropist, and her Imagination Library brought the magic of books to millions of children from all walks of life. It has been an honor and privilege to support her cause by fundraising for Imagination Library, and to share the literacy space with her. She has left impossible shoes to fill, but we will humbly accept the challenge by continuing to espouse the importance of literacy and access to it via books.

Thank you, Dolly, for all you did.

These will be a permanent addition to our collection, and are shelved with our Library of Things. Stop by today and check them out!
