Join us during Bulldog Days to learn about Dems’ opportunities for advocacy, civic engagement, and community. Following our weekly Dems Dinner, we’ll be having State Representative John-Michael Parker as a guest speaker during our Monday meeting. On Tuesday, you can find us at the EC Bazaar and with Ward 1 Alder Elias Theodore ‘27 at our Tuesday night hang-out (ft. so many insomnia cookies).

A donation drive is happening this week in support of the Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants (CIRI).
Keep an eye out for volunteers knocking on doors across rescos collecting toiletries and hygiene products. You can also drop off donations in the boxes placed outside dining halls throughout the day on Thursday and Friday. Anything helps!

It was incredible to join thousands of people on the New Haven Green and more than 7 million at No Kings protests across the country. It’s always a good day to defend our democracy and stand up to the Trump administration, and your energy made today particularly special. We loved seeing you all at our Bipartisan Civic Engagement Night yesterday! It was an honor to collaborate with YULAA, Migration Alliance at Yale, CT Students for a Dream, Full Citizens Coalition, the New Haven Registrar of Voters, and League of Women Voters CT for this event, and to hear from representatives from each of these incredible organizations. Special thanks to our three panelists, Trent Page, Dorina Azizova, and Elias Theodore. We’re grateful to you all for sharing your experiences with grassroots advocacy and local politics, and starting the conversation about what bipartisan civic engagement could mean for us as students.
