We’re sad to announce that the 52nd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival, originally scheduled for Sunday, April 6 from 12–4:30pm in Wooster Square Park, New Haven, is cancelled due to rainy weather conditions.⁣

We know how much this event means to our community, and we share in your disappointment. Thank you for your understanding—and we hope to see you under sunnier skies next year! 🌸💗⁣

🌳 In 1973, 72 Yoshino Cherry Blossom trees were planted, transforming our beloved park into a breathtaking pink paradise!⁣

🌳 This vibrant initiative was led by the New Haven Historic Commission in collaboration with the New Haven Parks Department and Wooster Square neighborhood residents. Together, they planted the roots of a blooming legacy that continues to captivate hearts to this day. 🤝🌸⁣

🌸 So, the next time you stroll through the park, take a moment to appreciate these wonderful trees and the community spirit that brought this burst of beauty to life!⁣
