It took a little while for Wilbur Cross product Andrew Marrero to get used to the Florida State League's automated strike zone. But he's been dealing pretty well for the St. Louis Cardinals' Single-A affiliate ever since this year.

And he still wears his hometown pride on his sleeve.

"When people ask me where I'm from, I'm not just from Connecticut. I'm from News Haven, Connecticut."

The Cedar Rapids Huskies?

Not one, not two, but three former UConn baseball teammates -- Pat Winkel, Kyler Fedko, Anthony Prato -- were reunited as teammates with the Cedar Rapids Kernels, High-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins.
