Join NHM as we explore the culinary journey that brought Gazmir Zeneli and his brothers Aleko and Jeshar to New Haven to build one of the country’s most acclaimed pizzerias, !

On Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., Gazmir will present, “From Albania to Italy to New Haven: The Story of Zeneli Pizzeria,” with Gorman Bechard and Dean Falcone, co-curators of the “Pronounced Ah-Beetz,” exhibit and producers of the documentary, “Pizza A Love Story.” Free admission.

The program is the latest in the museum’s “Monthly Slice” series at NHM, presented in conjunction with the NHM exhibition, “Pronounced Ah-Beetz.

John Bidwell will present, “Declaration of Independence Prints and Broadsides,” a pictorial account of the Declaration showing a growing appreciation of its symbolic significance and an increasing desire to view it in reliable reproductions, at NHM on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 6 p.m. The event will be preceded by a reception at 5:30 p.m. Free with regular museum admission.

The evening will also include a rare viewing of the Whitney Library’s fascinating Presidential Signatures Collection, including letters and documents signed by American presidents, and an 1823 engraving of the Declaration of Independence by William J. Stone, one of the most accurate reproductions of the nation’s founding document.
