Happy Birthday, Marines!

For 249 years we have fought and won our nationโ€™s battles with honor, courage, and commitment.

From our storied past to the present, every Marine has played a vital role in shaping our legacy. As we gather to reflect on our rich history, let us also look forward to the challenges ahead, ready to uphold the values that define us.

The road ahead is far from certain, but our ethos will never change - Every Marine a Rifleman and Everyone Fights.

CALLING ALL EDUCATORS ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ

Recruiting Station Springfield will be holding the annual Educators Workshop on February 11th through the 14th!

Selected high school and college educators, coaches, directors, counselors and administrators are invited to see firsthand how the Marine Corps transforms young men and women into Marines. Participants will receive the most current information regarding Marine Corps training practices, military occupational specialties, service options, military lifestyle and educational opportunities available to Marines.

You will witness recruits earning swim qualifications, firing on the rifle range, and completing the 54-hour rite of passage, "The Crucible". During the workshop you will have the opportunity to participate in leadership/team development exercises, live-fire the M16 on an actual firing range, train with Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructors, and have a lunch with recruits from your local area.

Due to a limited number of vacancies, reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. Reserve your spot as quickly as possible to ensure you will be able to join us for this exciting opportunity. If you cannot attend, I ask that you refer a colleague that you believe would gain from this experience.

If you are interested, please visit https://connect.marines.com/ for more information!
