Among the dozens of new laws set to take effect July 1 are several notable, if modest, changes to Connecticut’s tax code.
Beginning July 1, Connecticut’s 6.35% sales tax will no longer apply to “nonelectronic school supplies,” including binders, blackboard chalk, composition books and more.
