New Holland Police Department This is the official page for the New Holland Police Dept serving Earl Twp and New Holland Borough in Pennsylvania. We are currently located at 436 E. Main St.

The New Holland Police Department has been serving the community since 1926. The Department currently serves New Holland Borough and Earl Township which are located in northeastern area of Lancaster County with a total population of over 12,000 residents. The Department covers this 25 square mile area on a 24/7 basis. We are fortunate to serve a very diverse community. The community has a large mi

xture of agriculture and commercial businesses. The community is also home to the Eastern Lancaster County School District, ELANCO. This includes the Garden Spot Middle and High Schools along with the New Holland Elementary school. The community also boasts Hinkletown Mennonite School along with over a dozen “one-room” Amish school houses. The New Holland Police Department is currently made up of 18 sworn Officers. This number is made up of 14 patrol Officers, 1 Detective, 1 School Resource Officer, 1 part time patrol Officer and the Chief of Police. We also have 2 civilian office staff members. New Holland, PA 17557 and share this space with the New Holland Borough office. Calls for service are dispatched by the Lancaster County-Wide Communications Center which is located in Manheim, PA. Various New Holland Police Officers are also members of different Lancaster County regional task forces which include:
- The Lancaster County Special Emergency Response Team- SERT
- Lancaster County Crash Team
- Lancaster County Auto Crimes Task Force - ACTF
- Lancaster County Computer Crimes Task Force – CCTF

We want to take a minute and thank our incredible community for all the support and trust you have given to the New Holland Police Department over the past 99 years. It has been an honor to serve this community. As a reminder, starting January 1, 2026, police services will be provided by West Earl Township Police Department.

Moving froward, if you need assistance in person, you will need to visit the police station in West Earl Township, located at 157 W. Metzler Rd., Brownstown, PA 17508. The current police station at the New Holland Borough building will not be operational. Additionally, you are encouraged to follow West Earl Township Police Department for community updates and information, as this page will no longer be updated.

Some of the current New Holland Police officers will be continuing their service with the West Earl Township Police Department. Together with the officers of West Earl, we remain committed to ensuring the continued safety and high level of service to our residents.

FOUND: This girl was found in the 200 block of Summitville Rd. around 2:00 p.m. on November 8, 2025. She was wearing a collar but it did not have any tags on it. Update: We still have not located the owner. We added some additional photographs as the dog is wearing a collar and had a rope/ leash attached to the collar. Any help is appreciated
