For more than 16 years, the New Hope Community Learning Center has been much more than an after-school program. It has been a place where children receive the following benefits all at no cost to families:

- Academic support
- Enrichment activities
- Opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, academically, and physically
- A safe environment after school
- Caring mentors who believe in their potential.

Together with our school and community partners, we've helped support strong student outcomes, including improved graduation rates from 64% in 2009 to more than 90% every year since 2013.

Keeping these programs free eases financial pressure on families and ensures students have a safe, high-quality environment after school where learning is disguised as fun.

Today, we ask for your help. If you share our belief that every child deserves a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive after school, we invite you to invest in the future of the New Hope Community Learning Center. Every gift helps preserve a program that has faithfully served our community for more than sixteen years.

A HUGE thank you to Chris Harris and the entire Piggly Wiggly team for your incredibly generous donation to our Food Pantry! ❤️

You helped fill one of our freezers with 72 pounds of ground beef and two cases of hot dogs! 🥩🌭 What an incredible blessing to the families and individuals we serve!

And just for perspective…this picture was taken after our Saturday open hours AND Monday’s open hours, so the freezer was actually even MORE full than what you see here! 🙌

We are so grateful for community partners who believe in taking care of our neighbors and helping make sure no one goes without. Thank you, Piggly Wiggly, for helping us feed our community! ❤️

Please join us in a back-to-school prayer for our students, families, and staff members as we embark upon the 2026-27 school year 🙏

Heavenly Father, as we begin a new school year, we lift up our students, families, faculty, and staff to You. Fill each classroom with wisdom, kindness, patience, and a love for learning.

Give our students confidence to grow, courage to face new challenges, and hearts that reflect Your love. Strengthen our teachers and staff as they guide, encourage, and care for those entrusted to them. Bless our families with peace, unity, and the support they need throughout the year.

Keep everyone safe, help friendships flourish, and let this be a year filled with growth, purpose, and joy. May everything we do honor You and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. ♥️

What a sweet way to start our week! 🌺

Precious Sylvie and her parents spent Monday morning volunteering in our garden. While helping her mom prune some of our zinnias, Sylvie picked a beautiful flower and brought it to me. Such a thoughtful gesture from such a sweet little heart! 🩷

Today, we have both exciting news and a difficult update to share.

The CARE Center has been awarded 21st Century Community Learning Center funding to continue our high-quality after-school and summer programs at Madison County Elementary and Owens Cross Roads School.

Unfortunately, our flagship site at New Hope Elementary School was not selected for funding this cycle. Although we are disappointed, we remain committed to sustaining this work. We are pursuing grants, partnerships, and community support to continue serving families without adding financial burden.

- Caring mentors who believe in their potential
