The River Bridges was the brainchild of local writer (and realtor) Jill-Arcangela Mancuso Kopp, a long time Solebury resident. The project was stalled before it started, however, because Jill-A. needed images to accompany her words. Jill-A. met photographer Kristina Gibb D’Amico when their youngest children became friends and introduced them. New to the area, Kristina was excited to bring her camera to the project and to become better acquainted as she and Jill-A. explored their community and others along the banks of the Delaware River. The River Bridges was finally born. It features local people, historic places, and small businesses in the river valley in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
