Good evening NECA students

Summer is almost over, which means it’s time to get back to school. If you missed the last 3 registration sessions this month, guess what? You will have another opportunity to get enrolled!(Samuel L Jackson voice)
Instead of having enrollment at North Education Center we have decided to come to the community.

When: August 23rd, 2019 9am-2pm
Where: Brooklyn Park Library (Shingle Creek Room)
Why: Our students and their desire to graduate is something we take seriously. We want to provide an opportunity for students to reach their full potential and do what they or others thought was impossible. Graduate.

Due to dangerous weather conditions, all District 287 schools, programs, and services will be closed. Thursday, April 11. This includes all buildings and programs, including the District Service Center, Care and Treatment, programs at Hennepin Technical College and Itinerant staff. Only critical facilities staff should report. Staff should view their district email for more information.

The decision to close school is a difficult one, and we understand the hardships it can create for families, yet safety remains our highest priority. We will consider what adjustments need to be made to the school calendar to ensure we meet state requirements.

287 Families: Due to the school cancellations this winter, programs need to make up a day in order to meet state requirements for a full school year. We want to give you advanced notice that students will have a regular school day on Friday, May 3. This school day will make up for the school closures earlier this winter. Please ensure that you plan accordingly so that students attend school on May 3.
